"ISIL" COMING FOR DIAMONDS

GLOBAL TERROR & AFRICAN MINERALS
"ISIL" IS AGGRESSIVELY TRYING TO SETUP ITS AFRICAN STRONGHOLD, AS 200 FIGHTERS FROM AL-SHABAAB DEFECTED, FORM NEW AFFILIATE LEVANT MILITARY BRIGADE IN EAST AFRICA................!

Diamonds have funded brutal wars in countries such as Angola, Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, resulting in the death and displacement of millions of people. There is a reason they are dubbed ‘Blood Diamonds’. Would it be branded again as "Terror Diamonds" is anybody's guess worth pondering.

DIAMONDS - ANOTHER SOURCE FOR FUNDING:

African countries especially those endowed with rich mineral resources needs to be proactive and start dealing with early warning signals from evolving wars with terror and its spill over effects. ISIL has pressure locked on its finances,  as well as its oil revenue operations which are now been targeted. Suffocation of their financial capacity and oxygen to prosecute their ambitions will direct their source for funding to other alternatives such as African diamonds.

Trajecting "ISIL" next move will be as now been seen PRIORITY in setting up of strategic alliances with LOCAL militant's, insurgents and rebels close to diamond-rich countries who are already very vulnerable. This is now going to increase the threat and insurgencies in many of these countries who are still plagued with rebellions and militancy activities. The zones and axis they are now targeting are the most vulnerable areas in East Africa where majority of global supply of diamonds is coming from Africa's troubled hotspots before, and some are still presently as such in proximity. Countries like BURUNDI, DRC, ANGOLA, BRAZZAVILLE, CAR etc

In the 80s similar scenario started evolving with branded terror group such as Al Qaeda nobody took seriously operating within the Liberia and Sierra Leone axis resulting into full-scale rebellion which aim was to target the diamonds of these countries while fueling local civil rebellion into full-scale wars that moves from Liberia into Guinea and Sierra Leone borders. This was how the "BLOOD DIAMOND" became a reality that left devastating impact and trauma to date in the West African region.  "Blood diamonds is a term used for a diamond mined in a war zone and sold to finance an insurgency, an invading army's war efforts, or a warlord's activity". Wikipedia

"The expansion of ISIL to Somalia and Kenya marks an extension of the Syrian-Iraqi group's to East Africa for the first time. ISIL already has powerful and militarily capable North African affiliates in Egypt and Libya. In West Africa, its affiliate is the Nigerian Islamist insurgent group Boko Haram, which operates extensively in Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad and Niger."

"In a terror alert issued over the Christmas holiday, the Kenyan Police Service (KPS) Inspector General Joseph Boinnet said al-Shabab has split into two groups with one remaining loyal to al-Qaida while the new unit, which is made up mainly of foreign fighters, has pledged its allegiance to ISIL.

He said intelligence reports show that the split has led to competition for recruits with one faction keen to prove its power by staging attacks on soft targets including crowded places, shopping malls, entertainment spots, restaurants, buses, airports, college campuses and places of worship.

"They (al-Shabab) have split. As a result of the splits, particularly the ones along ideological and religious lines, are very keen to promote that internal competition by proving a point. They plan to prove a point by staging attacks. They are competing to spread an international jihadist agenda, which could be deadly if and when their attacks happens,".

[AS I SEE IT]
ISIL THREAT TO AFRICA IS REAL AND RIGHT AT ITS DOORSTEPS AND CORRIDORS WITHIN BORDERS................!
